Thank you for your response about almonds. It’s crazy how things will pop up in those lists without proper explanation. I really appreciate the info!
Just made pupcake for our boy’s 1st bday! Husband thought dog cake meant it had dig food in it- ummm you just watched me shred carrots! This is great for human dessert cravings too! The honey adds just enough sweetness. As I told him, it’s not super sweet, it’s more like a muffin. Who doesn’t need healthy treats they can share with the fur babies?

Yes, they freeze well. I cut them into very small pieces and froze them on a cookie sheet before putting into a zip loc. My dog is in love!

Oh my goodness! I made this cake for my friend’s Golden’s birthday. It was like my Collie and her Golden KNEW it was for them and they immediately sat down pretty, waiting! Also, I wont lie, I tasted it and it’s yummy. I am on a Keto diet and will be adjusting this to fit MY needs. Thank you for a yummy treat for my pups and ultimately for me!

Hi Connie! I haven’t frozen them before but I do think that they would freeze well, as this has the same consistency of other cakes that I have frozen.
