Hi Leslie! 1/2 Tbsp herbs can be subbed for 1/2 teaspoon! Fresh Parsley would be great, fresh oregano may be too potent as it’s not really cooked down in this recipe. ❤️

These are a favorite. I used to take bread crumbs and brown them in a small fry pan in a little butter and sprinkle on top of the noodles. So good and that small crunch.😇

This recipe is really meant to be super basic, like classic buttered noodles, for picky eaters or to be served alongside something more substantial, like beef stroganoff. If you want a recipe that is still super simple but includes more flavor, like broth, I would recommend my Garlic Parmesan Pasta instead, it’s a one pot recipe that comes together really quickly with angel hair. You could also check out my Chicken Scampi, which is simple as well but has a few more flavor elements. 

As far as the Parmesan cheese, I make sure to shred it fresh from a block and to combine it with the pasta water right when I’m ready to add it to the pasta, letting it sit is probably what caused it to begin to solidify into a glob 😉 I hope this helps, have a great weekend!!
