Hey Mona!! I don’t think it should be an issue to use Almond Milk in this recipe. I haven’t tested it, but I’d be willing to bet that it would be okay! 🙂

Stephanie, if I am uncertain about the lactose issue, does almond milk bake up the same?  My boys love ice cream and Greek yogurt treats, but to be on the safe side,,,

Hey Tanner! You’ll definitely have better luck baking all of the dough and then freezing the baked treats that you don’t need until later. Then just let them defrost at room temp! So happy that your dogs love them! YAY!! -Stephanie

All the dogs know love these. I tried freezing the dough, but it turns really dark. The cookies look burnt even though they aren’t. Any thoughts as to why? Thanks.

Hi Cathy! I would actually recommend cooking the bacon first, JUST in case- I should have made that more clear, I’ve updated the recipe. Thank you, and enjoy!

Hi, Stephanie!

I’m assuming that the bacon is NOT cooked before putting it into the mix??? Oreo loves sweet potato wedges baked to a pretty crunchy, chewy consistancy! He will love these, I know!

Thank u!!!

Hey Peggy! I have high hopes that little Chew will LOVE these treats, (Chewy is the cutest little name ever, by the way.) For the milk, it’s actually regular non-fat milk, not powdered 🙂 -Enjoy!! Let me know what Chewy thinks!!

Hi Mary!! I need to look into trying to make some cat treats sometime, maybe I could help you out! 🙂 My sister in law has a few cats- lots of people might like to try homemade treats for their kitties! 🙂
