In reply to Cathy Hall. Hi Cathy! If you brined your turkey, the drippings are likely to be extra salty as you mentioned, so I recommend making the gravy with with unsalted broth and use unsalted butter!

I’m anxious to try this recipe! However, I find that brined turkey often has too salty of a broth to use for gravy, what are your thoughts on this brine recipe to make gravy?
I see your note regarding using Morton salt (which I do normally use). I’m going to try the Diamond brand per your suggestion.
