While searching for a different protein to cook with, turkey sounded great. We all love shepherd’s pie and this was no exception! I cheated with ground turkey meat, jarred gravy and frozen mixed veggies but did make mashed potatoes. I think my husband ate half of the casserole on the first night. Great for a rainy night and I will definitely try again after Thanksgiving using ‘proper’ ingredients 😉

A great recipe! Used your Chicken Gravy recipe without the drippings recipe for the 1 cup of gravy in the recipe. Very filling and satisfying. A great way to use leftover turkey.
